In Lister class we have had a lot of fun making Gruffalo Crumble, the children worked brilliantly together in small groups and did really well following the recipe. It turned out wonderfully. Well done Lister!

Reading is such an important part of your child's education, please use these phonics resources to help them gain confidence and fluency. Read the individual sounds, the rhyme that goes with the sounds and then practise reading the words . Remind your child to use their Fred fingers to sound out the word if they get stuck and don't forget to blend the sounds together. The red words are words that can't be sounded out, they are words they need to continually practise and learn. Spending some time practising spelling the green and red words would also be very beneficial. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
