Chop, Slice and Mash
This topic teaches children about the variety and sources of food. It also teaches them about a healthy diet and how food is prepared.
Ready, Steady, Grow!
This topic teaches children about food and farming and explores themes, including where food comes from, what plants and animals need to grow and survive and what constitutes a healthy lifestyle.
Puddles and Rainbows
This topic teaches children about weather that happened during Spring and allows them to explore natural phenomena including rainbows. It supports them to explore colour in their natural world.
This topic teaches children about animals that live around the world, how to look after animals and the importance of caring for our local and global environment.
This topic teaches children about the different animals that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.
Sparkle and Shine
This topic teaches children about the celebrations that take place during Autumn and Winter seasons and focus on the significance and symbolism of light at this time of year.
This topic teaches the children about changes that happen during winter including different types of weather and what happens to plants and some animals. We’ll also find out about places that have snow all year round.
Where's the Bear?
In this topic, the children will be continuing to develop their love of stories and reading using some of our favourite classic bear tales as well as learning about real-life bears of different kinds.
Bonkers for Conkers!
This topic teaches children about the natural changes that happen during the Autumn season, including how the weather changes, why trees lose their leaves and how wild animals prepare for winter.

This topic supports children to develop a love of stories and reading. It encourages children to learn, retell and act out familiar and traditional tales.

This topic teaches children about how they are unique and special, the importance of friendship and how people in their family, school and local community are important and can help them.
